| Description | It's never too early to start your high-impact learning projects! Students are encouraged to get involved with a research or creative practice project right away, regardless of your skill level or discipline. You can learn along the way! Join us for an information session on how to find projects and contact faculty mentors. We'll also cover details on summer research, presenting, publishing, scholarships, and travel grants. Got an idea for a figurine? Or want to build a model airplane from scratch? Join us to learn about the various tools and specialty equipment the Makerspace provides such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC mills, and more! All students, staff, and faculty of all skill levels are encouraged to explore what the various machines are capable of and try their hand at creating something that tests their creative skills. We will also go over material allowances, workshops, project help resources, and equipment training. |
