As individuals and units across the University prepare for the return to onsite instruction, activities and work, leaders are challenged with creating an environment of trust and psychological safety amidst high levels of anxiety and uncertainty. Through pre-work, practical tips and tools, and facilitated discussion with other UW leaders: Increase your understanding of the impact of trauma on individuals and the workplace. Understand the foundations of trust and psychological safety in the workplace. Identify obstacles and anxieties associated with return to onsite work. Develop skills and practices to cultivate a trauma-informed approach, reinforce trust and foster psychological safety.
