Join us in a facilitated space to learn strategies on how to (re)design a syllabus inclusive of learners with a wide variety of learning styles/abilities, social positions/identities, and relationships to the university. In this second workshop, we will continue our reflection on what makes a syllabus inclusive and discuss ways to apply principles of inclusive syllabus design to create or revise your own syllabus. If you missed our first workshop on Designing Inclusive Syllabi, you can catch the edited video here: https://youtu.be/WbyZ3-zVNU0 We also recommend participants of this workshop: 1. Read Six Principles of Inclusive Syllabus Design 2. Bring one of your own syllabi to revise using the principles we will review. A modest stipend will be provided to UWB faculty and staff for participation in all three inclusive syllabi workshops over the 2021/2022 AY year. *The third workshop (March 4th) will focus on peer review of new or revised syllabi with a critical eye on equity and inclusion.
