Students of the 2022 Global Media Lab (G-Lab) will be hosting a final class screening of outstanding films.
The culminating event showcases the most compelling visual works from this intensive 10-credit filmmaking course co-taught by IAS Faculty Artists-in-Residence Masahiro Sugano and Anida Yoeu Ali with this year’s focus on art direction and compelling narratives. Throughout the quarter, students of G-Lab engaged in direct collaborations with collage artist/poet Kellie Richardson and dancer/choreographer Bennyroyce Royon. The G-Lab screening is one of many events hosted in the final week of the spring quarter as part of the annual 2022 Alive Festival of Open Studios. For more info contact anida@uw.edu |
