| | Description | How are agricultural and food systems being affected by climate change? This is the question that the 2023 winter speaker series hosted by UWB Sustainability will answer. Join us for the virtual part of the series on Wednesday, January 25th at 5:00pm. This event will feature Merri Metcalfe, a PhD student at Washington State University whose talk will be focusing on the work of WSU BreadLab which is using genetic diversity to develop new wheat varieties that not only thrive in a changing climate but also improve the nutritional quality of the grain. Many professors are offering extra credit so be sure to ask! Use the link below to register for individual events or the whole series! Registration required for virtual events. |
