SummaryThis advanced workshop is designed for those who have attended Civil Lawsuits without Tears or those who need more in-formation on the process for admitting evidence in a civil case.
DescriptionIn this workshop you will learn about: the process of determining whether evidence is relevant and admissible, how to provide authentication for evidence, the basics of “hearsay,” and which things are “privileged” and cannot be used as evidence. Attendees will be granted access to a password protected website with additional information including sample documents and instructions.

This class does not cover immigration proceedings or criminal proceedings such as DUI or felony & misdemeanor offenses.In this workshop you will learn about: the process of requesting information and documents from the other party and responding to requests, asking and answering interrogatories (written questions to the other party), the basics of depositions, and the court rules governing the discovery process. Attendees will be granted access to a password protected website with additional information including sample documents and instructions.

This class does not cover immigration proceedings or criminal proceedings such as DUI or felony & misdemeanor offenses.
