Summer Start-Up Series: Appeal Counseling Appointment (second-year Promise students only)

Wednesday, June 10, 2026, 10am – 12:30pm

The appeal counseling appointments are for Promise students that have been required to submit an appeal to remain in the Promise program. The appointments are 45-minutes and topics may include academic probation, time/stress management, major or career goals, and Promise program requirements.

Wednesday, July 8, 2026, 1:30 – 3:30pm

Do you have your roadmap from beginning to the completion of your academic goal that has been approved by a counselor at Irvine Valley College? You can start your MAP in MySite using the My Academic Plan (MAP) tool. An Approved MAP will identify the courses required for you to reach your academic goal whether you plan to pursue a certificate, an associate’s degree, and/or transfer and is a requirement for Promise program eligibility. Come to a MAP Lab session to get your comprehensive MAP completed and approved!
