JOB DESCRIPTION:
Will ensure the safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements. Comfortably and continuously lift and move up to 70 pounds of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals, and air cargo facilities.

Will operate motorized equipment as well as read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags as well as perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
~High School Diploma/GED required to perform basic math, reading and comprehensive safety activity.
~Ability to lift/move 70 pounds of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between terminals and air cargo facilities.
~Valid Washington State driver's license required to operate commercial vehicles.
~Must be able to lift heavy bags and parcels, push, pull, bend, stretch and frequently kneel.
~Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions as work is performed primarily outdoors.
~Flexible schedule to work a variety of shifts.
~Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints.
~Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage and airfreight.
~Must be able to pass a drug test as well as an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal.
