		<title type="text">30th Annual Maypole Parade &amp; Dance</title>
		<content type="html">Saturday, May 2, 2026, 11:30am&amp;nbsp;&amp;ndash;&amp;nbsp;2pm &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;img src="https://www.trumba.com/i/DgC-Sghwab9MJKPbpkKJpQpR.jpg?w=100&amp;h=71" title="30th Annual Maypole Parade &amp;amp; Dance" alt="30th Annual Maypole Parade &amp;amp; Dance" width="100" srcset="https://www.trumba.com/i/DgC-Sghwab9MJKPbpkKJpQpR.jpg?w=200&amp;amp;h=142 2x" /&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Celebrate May Day with us! Brasstown Morris Dancers present 30th annual Maypole Parade and Dance takes place Saturday, May 2, 2026. This event is free and open to all.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you&amp;#8217;d like to join in the short parade, meet at Festival Barn at 11:30 a.m.&lt;br /&gt;(or 10:30 to adorn yourself with flowers or be a giant puppeteer)&lt;br /&gt;The procession leaves Festival Barn at 11:45 a.m.&amp;#160;&lt;br /&gt;Maypole dance performances at 12:00 p.m.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The procession will move from the Festival Barn, past the garden and down to the field outside the Craft Shop for the Maypole dance around&lt;strong&gt; noon&lt;/strong&gt;. After the Maypole ribbons are tied there will be a simple circle dance, open to any attendees, followed by a performance by the Brasstown Morris Dance Teams.&amp;#160;Festive dress &amp;amp; nature-themed costumes encouraged.&amp;#160;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dining hall lunch open to the public&amp;#160;after maypole performances (around 1pm).&amp;#160; $20 cash at the dining hall door.
