Summary: The club is again invited for a day of “pancakes and planes” at the private Pegasus Air Park located in the Sciota area, just west of Route 33, south of Stroudsburg., Classic cars of all types are invited to this event, so a chance to see some different classic cars for a change., Chapter 839 of the Experimental Aircraft Association hosts this informal car display and pancake breakfast/lunch. It’s a day to park, enjoy the food, and to sit around talking cars and planes and watching aircraft come and go throughout the morning., Weather permitting, free airplane rides are offered to kids 8-17 years old., Breakfast will be held continuously from 9 am to 1 pm with a $10 donation requested: fresh-cooked pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee., Classic cars will mingle with more than a dozen vintage and experimental aircraft from the 1940s-1970s, for a fun gathering. A large tent with tables will be set up for outside dining, or if weather is less accommodating, eat indoors. , Bring your chairs for hanging out around the cars. , NOTE: Free plane rides for children ages 8 to 17 as part of the EEA club’s "Young Eagles" program. Adults are welcome to chat with pilots in pursuit of making arrangements for their own flights.
