The STABLE Program 7th Edition Online Course

Ongoing through Wednesday, June 30, 2027

The STABLE course is geared for a medical professional caring for and stabilizing newborn infants. It is the most widely implemented neonatal education program that focuses exclusively on the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care of sick infants. This course allows users to work through the approximately 8 hour online only training curriculum at their own pace. Pre and Post test are included with an opportunity to evaluate the course and collect 7.75 CEU credits with valid license.

Childbirth Series In-Person Classes

Ongoing through Thursday, September 24, 2026, 9:30pm

This in-depth, three-class series covers pregnancy, vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, pain control techniques, possible medical interventions, postpartum recovery and essential newborn information. You will also receive a course book and a helpful companion app that includes videos, checklists and applicable tools. We also have pediatrician visit our class one evening to 30 minutes for a Q & A session.

It can be helpful complete your childbirth class no later than 34 weeks.

Cost for the class is $40. Fee covers expectant mom and one support person. You only need to register mom. No need to register your one support person that will attend class with you. This is for the whole series of three evening classes.

Walk-in Wednesday Interviews: Security Officers

Join us at this come-and-go recruitment event to interview for a security officer position! Our officers work 12-hour shifts, and we currently have openings on both day and night shifts. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma/GED AND must either already possess a CLEET Phase IV Armed Security Guard Certification OR be a Certified Peace Officer (with the ability to obtain the CLEET Phase IV license with 90 days).

Virtual Car Seat Workshop

Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 10 – 11am

This is a virtual workshop with all education completed online.

In order to receive a car seat from Safe Kids Tulsa Area, you must be the legal guardian. You will need to bring proof of government assistance (WIC, food stamps, SoonerCare) as well as proof of guardianship if child is born* (birth certificate, vaccine record, insurance card). The cost of each car seat is $20 (cash only) with a max of one car seat per child and three car seats per family. If you are unsure if you are eligible, please call us at 918-494-7233 or email safekidstulsa@saintfrancis.com. Car seats provided by Safe Kids Tulsa Area are meant to be used in the vehicle of the legal guardian. We cannot provide car seats for the vehicles of secondary caregivers (babysitters, nannies, other family members, etc.). Please note that all-in-one car seats are used for expectant parents and infants, not infant carriers.
*Expecting parents do not need to provide proof of guardianship.

Breastfeeding Basics In-Person Class

These one-day classes will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey. Our classes cover recognizing hunger cues of your baby, techniques on positioning your baby at the breast, successfully latching on, feeding patterns, breast pumps, and breast milk storage and more, along with hands on learning opportunities.

We recommend you take this class if you are considering breastfeeding your new little one. It is also helpful if you are trying to decide on breastfeeding or pumping or both.

A support person is encouraged to attend with you at no additional cost. This will help them support you and baby.

Childbirth Series In-Person Classes

Thursday, October 15, 7pm – Thursday, October 29, 2026, 9:30pm

This in-depth, three-class series covers pregnancy, vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, pain control techniques, possible medical interventions, postpartum recovery and essential newborn information. You will also receive a course book and a helpful companion app that includes videos, checklists and applicable tools. We also have pediatrician visit our class one evening to 30 minutes for a Q & A session.

It can be helpful complete your childbirth class no later than 34 weeks.

Our class is filled with accurate and up-to-date information to help guide you through the next twelve months of your grandchild's life. It will aid you as you use the best protective practices for babies and navigate your role as a grandparent.

Our in-person safety precautions include-
