For current undergraduates applying for UW School of Art + Art History + Design scholarships... Scholarship applications open February 17, 2017 – http://art.washington.edu/advising/scholarships/soa-scholarships/ and the deadline to apply is May 1st. Don’t wait until the end of April to start gathering your materials! These Q&A sessions are designed to help you prepare a competitive application for the School’s annual scholarships. At these sessions we'll address common questions: How do I write an artist statement? How do I choose my images? Where do I find my major cumulative GPA? If I’m not eligible for one of these scholarships, are there other awards available? The sessions are open to all art, art history and design majors. To be eligible for an autumn quarter scholarship, you must be a current student who: – is a declared major in the School of Art + Art History + Design – will be attending full time for at least two quarters of the 2017-18 academic year – will not be graduating before Winter 2018 Last year over $90,000 worth of scholarships were awarded to incoming and current undergraduates! https://art.washington.edu/news/2016/10/07/2016-2017-undergraduate-scholarships |
