The College of Arts and Sciences and the Alumni Association invite you to a special talk and reception celebrating Jacob Lawrence, beloved artist and UW Professor Emeritus, on the 100th anniversary of his birth. Before enjoying the reception and exhibit, Jacob Lawrence: The Migration Series, hear a compelling exploration of the themes, context, and insights behind the this epic series from scholars and contemporaries deeply acquainted with the man and his work. 6pm: panel on the life and work of Jacob Lawrence 7:15pm: reception and viewing of exhibit Led by Patti Junker, Ann M.
