The April meeting of the Critical Art Writing Group will be led by Adair Rounthwaite, Assistant Professor in Art History at the University of Washington's School of Art + Art History + Design. Rounthwaite will be discussing "Art and Writing in 1970s Zagreb.” Adair Rounthwaite is a specialist in contemporary art, with particular interests in performance, audience participation, conceptualism, institutional critique, and the relationship between art and urban space. Her work concentrates temporally on the 1970s and 1980s, with geographic foci in North America and in the former Yugoslavia and its successor states.
