Join us for an informational session on Friday, May 24, from 1 to 2 pm in Communications 202 in anticipation of the Simpson Center’s fall 2019 funding round, during which faculty and graduate students will be invited to apply for 2020 summer fellowships. We view the summer fellowships that support both faculty creating publicly engaged graduate seminars and graduate students developing public projects as one of the most generative aspects of the Mellon initiative. The fellowship requirements and CFPs (see links below) have slightly changed in accordance with our new emphasis on collaborative work, so we want to provide an opportunity to field questions and troubleshoot project possibilities well in advance of the fall funding round. You can find our CFPs here: - For faculty - For doctoral students For questions, please contact Annie Dwyer, Assistant Program Director, at dwyera@uw.edu or 206.221.3191. We encourage applicants to meet with us to discuss their proposals prior to submission. The Simpson Center gratefully acknowledges The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for its support of Reimagining the Humanities PhD and Reaching New Publics: Catalyzing Collaboration. |
