The Master of Design students who will be graduating in June share their thesis research in this poster show. The students will be present during the reception and welcome discussion about their research.Research topics for the MDes class of 2020 are: Jeremy Barribeau A systems analysis of the causes and effects of poaching in Southern Africa with the aim of developing a holistic product or strategy recommendation. Cal Dobrzynski A study of how creativity can help strengthen communication between familial caregivers and their loved ones suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Samer Fouad Using installation design as a method of interacting with physical spaces found outside the contemporary gallery, Fouad creates installations that alter the space in which they reside. Piper Loyd An exploration of how we attach meaning to physical books and how the form of the book affects our relationship to them. Justin Lund Generative Design (GD) is an emerging field involving the collaboration of software-enabled machines and human designers that allows exponentially more iteration in shorter periods of time and produces previously impossible results. Jeremy Viny In this work Amazon will become a sort-of playground, to deploy several Speculative Enactments to engage with sellers, buyers, and contractors, all of whom affect and shape each other's experience in the Amazon. |
