The ADOS-2 Advanced Research Workshop is intended for professionals who want to further their clinical competence with the ADOS-2 and/or work towards establishing research levels of reliability on the administration and coding standards. Individuals planning to use the ADOS-2 in research studies must establish reliability on the measure. During the 2-day workshop, participants will work with an experienced trainer where they will have the opportunity to practice administering and scoring the ADOS-2 modules with typically developing children and those who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Individualized feedback will be provided on administration and scoring. Prior to attending the Advanced Research workshop, individuals must record themselves administering two modules from the ADOS-2 and bring the DVDs to the workshop. Completion of the pre-course recordings is a key step in achieving research reliability and prepares participants for post-course work. Prerequisites: All trainees are expected to have attended an introductory ADOS or ADOS-2 Training for Clinicians through UWAC, CADB, UMACC, WPS or an Independent Trainer. Expectations: Prior to training, it is expected that you have access to a WPS ADOS kit and manual and have practiced administration of all five modules of the ADOS-2.
