This course introduces the UW Employee Benefits package, including the retirement plan options, and assists employees in their benefits selections. Since most enrollment forms are due within 31 days from an employee’s eligibility date, you are urged to attend an orientation before your enrollment deadline.

8:30 AM Part I: Medical, dental, life, long-term disability insurances, flexible spending accounts, dependent care assistance, Hometown Home Loan program, and other benefits

Coming in 2018: Welcome Day, the improved orientation that combines the current Benefits and New Employee Orientations, launches January 8, 2018. Welcome Day registration is open for winter, but employees with upcoming benefits enrollment deadlines should attend the remaining 2017 Benefits Orientations on December 18 or 26.
