Be our guest as we celebrate Mario L. Barnes' appointment as the next Toni Rembe Dean and introduce him to the Western Washington legal community. Dean Barnes joins UW after serving as professor and senior associate dean for academic affairs at UC Irvine School of Law. Prior to his academic career, Dean Barnes spent 12 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy, including service as a prosecutor, defense counsel and special assistant U.S. attorney.
