| | Description | Class attendees will learn about the restoration project design process in order to plan and implement more successful and cost effective ecological restoration projects. They will learn how to develop a design that meets project goals with the given site conditions and how respond adaptively to unexpected changes. Attendees will perform a field site evaluation and develop a design in teams. Project objective development, site preparation, installation, maintenance and monitoring will be discussed in the context of the design exercise and their own projects leaving attendees able to identify important considerations for successfully planning their own projects.
