Description | Does your scholarship include a focus on disability? Would you like join a growing community of scholars who approach their work through a disability studies perspective? The UW Disability Studies Program invites faculty, graduate students, and staff from across the university to a meet-and-greet event to introduce the Disability Studies Program and learn from you about the role disability studies plays in your work. Everyone is welcome, whether you currently integrate a disability studies perspective in your research, teaching, and advising or would simply like to learn more. Our goal this year is to develop and strengthen an interdisciplinary community of scholars who collaborate, educate, and promote a deeper understanding of disability in the academy and the community.
