Description | Dr. Kosnett is Co-Principal Investigator of “Observational Study of Driving Impairment in Occasional versus Heavy Marijuana Users” funded by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). His research and clinical activities as a medical toxicologist and occupational physician have addressed toxicological, forensic, and public health and safety aspects of medical and recreational cannabis. Dr. Kosnett has been recognized for national and international public health contributions including his service as a past President of the American College of Medical Toxicology, a member of the Committee on Toxicology of the National Academy of Sciences, a member of the Board of Scientific Counselors of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and numerous advisory panels for WHO, EPA, CDC, ATSDR and the Department of Defense. |
