Senior Research Scientist Daniel Burge from the Image Permanence Institute (IPI) will present an overview of the history, technologies, and materials used in digital printing and provide tips on identifying and preserving the most common digital print types. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session. Daniel Burge received his B.S. in Imaging and Photographic Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1991. His primary focus of research at IPI has been the chemical and physical interactions between imaging media and storage enclosures, including the development and improvement of testing methods. |
