Description | Room 340, HUB, Seattle Campus. RSVP here. Did you know that approximately 21% of all incoming grad students during fall quarter are first-generation? First-gen graduate students are in the first generation of their families to earn a Bachelor's degree and are now working toward a graduate degree. Attend this free event to: - Snag a "I Heart First-Gen Grad Students" button while supplies last
- Get one free professional headshot taken by Graduate School staff. Sign-in in person required—and on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Build community in person and online with first-gen graduate student peers across disciplines
- Participate in a Poll Everywhere activity to share what being first-gen means to you
- Enjoy light foods and refreshments
