The purpose of the conference is to identify and prioritize needs, barriers, and solutions to confront the burden of racism that has caused detrimental health outcomes for people of color. This event will bring together various Public Health professionals of color to discuss the intersections of identity, particularly race and racism, with conference participants. SCPH believes that it is vital to increase diversity within the public health field and want to achieve this by empowering public health students through panels, discussions, and engaging with professionals who are passionate in their work.. While this event aims to center the experiences and voices of students of color, we welcome all students who would like to participate. Questions? Contact scph@uw.edu |
