"Two Minutes, One Prompt, Your Vision" We asked students in Washington state to create a 2-minute short film that answers our prompt: Together we can tackle climate change. What would it take to turn the tide? Submissions have officially closed. Visit climatevideo.uw.edu to learn more. ___ On this night, we’ll screen the top finalist's short films, and a panel of local expert filmmakers and scientists will announce the winners and award over $7000 in prizes. The people get to choose their favorite, too. Contestants, families, artists, general public, dogs (okay maybe not dogs), are all warmly welcomed. In addition to the short-film showcase, we are inviting various organizations to build exposure and connectivity between creatives and environmental work. And you know we'll hook it up with a free raffle, bangin' drinks and local food to share. ___ Main Speakers: Eve Andrews (Grist) Susie J.
