Description | Ray Larson, Curator of Living Collections, will take us on a journey through the most interesting plant collections in the UW Botanic Gardens. Learn about rare and unusual plants, collections based on genetics and eco-geographic habitats, and unusual tales of how these plants have made their way to us. This walk and talk will highlight the Pacific Connections Garden, where you will find amazing plants from five countries connected by the Pacific Ocean. This is a great opportunity for an expert guided tour of this meadow, gardens, and forests that make up this 12-acre garden. This program will take place outdoors, rain or shine, and will include walking at a brisk pace, sometimes over uneven terrain. Cost: $15 Register Online or by phone (206-685-8033) |
