Event Goals: Office of Graduate Student Affairs (Core Programs) and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs are co-hosting an event to help you learn more about careers you can pursue with your graduate degrees. At the end of the event, you will be able to: - Learn career insights from professionals working in fields ranging from government, non-profit, industry, and academia.
- Hear strategies for making the transition from graduate school to academic or non-academic careers.
- Work on ways to identify and apply the skills you developed in academia to non-academic careers.
- Gain an understanding of workplace culture beyond academia
- Network with speakers and fellow graduate students and postdocs at the reception
