Lecture Title: Using Data to Advance Racial Justice Lecture Synopsis: Sam Sinyangwe is a policy analyst and data scientist who works with communities of color to fight systemic racism, with his work on Mapping Police Violence and Campaign Zero focusing on ending police violence. In this lecture, Sinyangwe will present strategies for using data to support organizing campaigns focused on equity and justice in the United States. Sinyangwe grew up in Orlando, Fla., and graduated from Stanford University in 2012. He has been named one of Forbes' 30 Under 30 and The Root 100. |
