Collaborative Conflict: Navigating Difficulty, High Stakes Conversations

Interpersonal conflict can derail important discussions at work, and costs American companies billions of dollars each year. Many people ignore conflict until it's too late to resolve. Healthy cultures handle conflict directly, yet most Americans were never taught how to do that. In this talk, Mikaela Kiner, CEO, Reverb, will explore constructive approaches to conflict, and offer real-world skills you can use immediately. If you want to get better at addressing – not avoiding – conflict, this talk is for you.

  • Understanding conflict as normal
  • A ‘self-change’ approach vs ‘change them’
  • Skills to effectively communicate your goals and intentions
  • The power of practice
