Digital technology makes our life convenient, but how does the technology help your research? In each of the six Tateuchi Research Methods Workshop Series: Digital Scholarship for East Asian Studies, you will learn about some of the major digital tools that can help you become more efficient and successful scholar in this digital age, and how they might be applied to East Asian studies. In this month’s workshop, we explore two forms of “open” publishing, both aimed at broadening access to scholarly literature: Open Access and Open Educational Resources. Features presentations by Liz Bedford (Scholarly Publishing Outreach Librarian) and Lauren Ray (Open Education and Psychology Librarian). All graduate students and faculty are welcome. No previous experience is needed. Lunch is provided. |
