Guest Speaker, Kahlia Keita, Clinical Ethics Educator at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center in DC will cover 1) recognition of justice issues related to race, immigration status, gender, and sexual orientation in patient care; 2) how to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs that are implemented in hospitals to address social justice concerns; and 3) how ethics can assist in preventing and eliminating justice issues in patient care.
