Are you new to Geographic Information Systems (GIS)? Do you need GIS help for a class assignment, thesis, or other project? Then come learn about the GIS resources that the UW and the Libraries has to offer! During this half-hour presentation, Matt Parsons (GIS Librarian) and Teddy Davenport (GIS Graduate Staff Assistant) will discuss what GIS software, data, and e-learning courses you have access to as a UW faculty, student, or staff. This talk will also cover Suzzallo GIS Lab walk-ins and how to book one-on-one GIS consultations with library staff. This presentation is geared towards UW faculty and students of all GIS proficiency levels.
