Description | Speaker: Brienna Naughton, MPH Title: Plans for ImpSci dissertation: investigating convenient HIV testing interventions outside of the traditional VCT clinic-based options Brienna Naughton is a UW Implementation Science PhD student, and also works on the Global Delivery Programs team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She has recently developed her dissertation plans with Dr. Carey Farquhar as Chair, and will be working in close partnership with the APS team. The dissertation aims to investigate the pragmatic implementation of both HIV self-testing and assisted partner notification services from the lenses of effectiveness, acceptability, and couples’ perceptions. Prior to her time at BMGF and UW, she worked with the Ministry of Health and Partners In Health in Rwanda, and in HIV-related research in South Africa. |
