The Leaders to Legends Breakfast Lecture Series spotlights leaders from various industries. Etienne joined Theo Chocolate as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors on April 9, 2018. In his new role, Etienne is committed to charting a course for Theo’s future growth which will benefit all of its stakeholders, while remaining consistent with the company’s founding mission. “I’m joined the Theo team because I believe in the mission; it’s an amazing brand and I’m confident it has tremendous potential. The team makes the best chocolate in the world, while improving the lives of many who need it most.” says Etienne. Etienne brings a breadth of experience to Theo, with a reputation for reinvention and innovation in leadership roles across several consumer goods companies. Prior to Theo, Etienne was Chief Marketing Officer at Pharmavite, the maker of Nature Made and Mega Foods vitamins and supplements, leading brands in the mass and natural channels. While at Pharmavite he led Marketing, New Product Development and Corporate Strategy. Prior to Pharmavite, Etienne held senior leadership roles at the Kellogg’s Company including General Manager Wholesome Snacks for Kellogg’s and Kashi brands, Vice President Innovation, and Director for Acquisitions & Long Lead Innovation. Prior to that, Etienne held a number of marketing leadership roles at Kraft Foods for the Oscar Mayer, Back to Nature and Boca Burger brands. Before entering the business world, Etienne served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. Etienne also currently serves as a Board member for Goodwill Industries International. He joined the national Board in June 2017. Goodwill Industries is a non-profit organization that provides job training, employment placement and other community based services across the United States and 14 other countries. Event Details A continental breakfast will be available from 7:15–8:00 a.m. The session will start at 8:10 a.m. followed by a Q&A Session. The cost of attendance is $10 payable by check, cash, or credit card. UW faculty, staff, and students receive free admission.
