Description

Every year, UW graduate students participate in the Valle Scholarship and Scandinavian Exchange Program, which funds student exchanges between the UW and Nordic countries. Recipients spend 3-12 months studying and conducting research internationally. Since 1980, more than 750 scholarships have been awarded.

WHAT IS COVERED?
The Valle program is unique in that it covers travel expenses,
tuition credit, a living stipend and health insurance.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The Valle program is open to students in Civil &
Environmental Engineering and Built Environments. Must
be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
