Join the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) for a virtual information session about fellowship opportunities in Japan. Learn about fellowship eligibility, application procedures, and what life is like as a researcher in Japan. JSPS, the largest research-funding agency in Japan, has hundreds of funding opportunities available to all fields (social-science, humanities, STEM, multi-disciplinary) for research at all Japanese Universities and public research institutions. Who can apply:
- Pre-PhD students (summer and short-term fellowships)
- Postdocs (summer, short and long term fellowships)
- Faculty fellowships at junior, mid and senior levels (short and long term)
Language skills may not be required; no citizenship restrictions*. Staff from JSPS will be present to answer questions about fellowship opportunities and life as a researcher in Japan.
