Difficulty: All Date & Time: January 19, 5:00 p.m. Avalanche rescue courses focus heavily on the technical aspects of a rescue, but often fail to put the incident in a wilderness medical context. This informational workshop is focused on how to prevent and treat the most common backcountry skiing injuries associated with trauma and hypothermia. When Ski Patrol is more than a phone call away it is up to the skier to make appropriate decisions and bring everyone in the group off the mountain safety!
