Description | Weather and climate can impact the range and magnitude of zoonotic diseases. Because of this, there is a growing need to both analyze the impacts of climate on infectious disease ecology and provide public health and environmental professionals, as well as the public, with local, quantitative data that can be used to inform policy and planning. In this study, we analyzed the relationship between weather variables and four zoonotic diseases in the state of Washington, with a particular focus on West Nile virus. Presented by: Nicolas A.
