5 Wednesday Mornings, October 20 - November 17, 2021, 10am-12:30pm Capture the essence of fall flora with simple, quick techniques and portable materials! Beginning with fun warm-up exercises you will be guided in an intuitive approach to sketching with pen, layering watercolor washes, and gathering tips that can be applied to everyday sketching. In this online, but hands-on class you will have the opportunity to work from berries, seedpods and flowers from your own garden. Photos featured from the UW Botanic Gardens plant collections at the Center for Urban Horticulture and Washington Park Arboretum will be introduced for inspiration.
