Hosted by Core Programs—Office of Graduate Student Affairs in The Graduate School—this virtual event is an opportunity for all UW *first-generation graduate students to build community, recognize their milestones and achievements, and hear from esteemed guest speakers. Attendees’ family and friends are invited, as well as staff and faculty who support first-gen grad students. This event will be recorded and close-captioned. - Both speakers are first in family to earn Bachelor's degrees
