Description | College is a fun and exciting environment filled with possibilities, but the past year brought a lot of challenging circumstances and required difficult transitions. Join the UW School of Social work and the UW Resilience Lab for an interactive workshop on how to build your resilience in a University setting. Topics will include addressing imposter syndrome, practicing mindfulness as a tool for wellness, remaining resilient in (another) shift to a new normal, moving through grief, and showing up for yourself in critical ways. *This event is tailored towards incoming first-year undergraduate students and prospective BASW students. NOTICE: All participant microphones and cameras (besides those of the presenter) are set to be disabled, but we welcome typed chat questions throughout the presentation. This session will be recorded for the benefit of future prospective students. By participating, you consent to the recording and agree that your name and any chat text you transmit may be part of the recording that is later made available for consumption by University of Washington School of Social Work students, faculty, staff, or partners. |
