Course date/time: Saturday 10/2, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 1 day of Sea Kayaking instruction; Experience Level: Beginner; Physical Challenge: Easy to Moderate. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of paddling a sea kayak as well as important safety procedures such like wet exits. Come ready to swim! It will take place in one of Seattle’s local waterways where we will spend the day paddling and enjoying our beautiful city from a new vantage point. We will practice in a socially distant manor, masks required. This class is limited to group sizes of 6 at this time and pre-registration online is required. This course will go rain or shine unless there are unsafe conditions as dictated by UWild Manager or Director. After completion of this course, participants will have the skills necessary to participate in more advanced sea kayaking course with UWild. FOOD IS NOT PROVIDED on this course.
