Calling all Dawgs! UW Fitness Day is a one-of-a-kind, campus-wide workout celebrating the many ways we move. The Whole U is thrilled to host our first in-person event in over two years and can’t wait to welcome you to the field of Husky Stadium. This year’s event will feature UW coaches and fitness partners who will lead you and your colleagues through a series of 20 unique workout stations to enliven body and mind, including strength training, cardio bursts, active recovery, yoga and more! All fitness levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. UW Fitness Day is about much more than being active and having fun as a community. Together, we’re raising funds for Be The Match and encouraging anyone eligible to join the registry and save lives. Will you help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 and 100 new registry members? It’s amazing to see thousands of Huskies come together at Husky Stadium and share incredible energy. Come and see for yourself! Important logistics: When is UW Fitness Day? Monday, May 23, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Where do I go? Husky Stadium’s main, front entrance that faces Montlake Blvd. We’ll direct you from there. What time can I arrive? Husky Stadium doors open at noon. What do I get for participating? A UW Fitness Day t-shirt, giveaways from our sponsors, and an awesome workout with your colleagues! What should I wear? We recommend wearing something you feel comfortable moving in and athletic shoes. You will get your t-shirt as you arrive, so you can throw it over your shirt or change in the bathroom. Is there somewhere I can put a bag? You can leave a bag on the side of the field or in the stands as you enter. There is no official bag check. What if there is bad weather? The show goes on rain or shine. You will hear from us if there is anything drastic that will impact UW Fitness Day. Is there parking? Parking is not provided. If you are travelling to campus for UW Fitness Day, we recommend reading the Visiting UW webpage for suggestions on parking. What COVID precautions are in place? UW Fitness Day is an outdoor event. This event and participants must follow all campus COVID-19 guidelines. Where can I get updates for UW Fitness Day?
