Lauren Graham, PhD Assistant Teaching Professor, University of Washington
Accessibility Matters (For All of Us) In her talk, Lauren Graham will discuss her experience with meeting and anticipating accessibility needs in her courses. Instructors are in a position to reduce the burden of individual accommodations (put on students, the Disability Resources for Students office, and instructors) through thoughtful design of their courses. Lauren will share several strategies she has used in her own courses that support her goal of increasing educational access for every student. This free lecture is part of the promotion review for Dr. Graham in the Department of Psychology. |
