Cut, tear, and paste layers of colorful papers to create original cards or small pieces to frame. Drawing inspiration from the seasonal flora of the surrounding UW Botanic Gardens and Center for Urban Horticulture, students will learn how to simplify the subject matter, create dynamic compositions, and choose harmonious color palettes. Class fee includes all materials, but students are welcome to bring in special collage papers to recycle into their pieces if desired. Instructor Lisa Snow Lady has a BA in Art History and a BFA in Painting from the University of Washington, and a Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture from Edmonds College. Lisa is a member of the Northwest Collage Society. She loves to encourage students of all levels. Cost: $57 Financial aid rate available Register online |
