About the Speaker: Miriam Hacker builds bridges between research and practice. Originally from the Pacific Northwest and with degrees in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington, Miriam currently helps facilitate research through program management at the Water Research Foundation, focusing on topics like workforce management, water reuse, and resilience. Her professional experience includes local permitting, stormwater management, network development, and applied research. Recent research focuses include governance and social aspects of adopting water reuse and the housing-water nexus, specifically access to water and sanitation services by vulnerable communities. |
