The Washington Clean Energy Testbeds are a facility for faculty and student researchers at the state’s academic and research institutions as well as R&D leaders at Washington state-based companies. It is a space where new companies can affordably scale-up and test their technologies with the goal of attracting early stage capital needed to grow.

Located at the Bowman building near the UW campus, the advanced manufacturing testbeds facilities provide a place for leading–edge materials researchers to be co-located with the tools and expertise needed to quickly turn a breakthrough materials discovery into scalable devices.

This seminar will offer an overview of the facility design, timetable, research capabilities and equipment that will be available at the testbeds in early 2017.  In addition, the Clean Energy Institute leadership will provide an update of the research training testbed to be part of the new NanoES building.

Bring your questions and learn more about the new capabilities available for energy research at UW.
