Join us for our fourth annual "Introduce a Girl" event -- this year exploring coding, robotics and data science (CoRDS). Explore demos such as learning coding fundamentals, creating arduino projects, and interacting with robotics! Learn from experts in the field and learn in an open and welcoming environment. Event is free; registration is encouraged: www.eventbrite.com… An open house style event with booths that take about a hour to get through. Event organizer Gabriella Tosado is a chemical engineering Ph.D. student whose research focuses on perovskite solar cell stability. In addition to coordinating outreach activities, developing curriculum materials, and recruiting students into the Clean Energy Institute, she hopes to extend outreach throughout Washington State and bring more minorities and women into STEM fields. |
