In the Spring 2018 Qualitative Research Methods course (HCDE 519), master’s students conducted qualitative research studies to better understand our human relationships with technology. Student teams explored family interactions with conversational voice interfaces, emotional effects of interacting with retro computers, experiences using data apps, and much more. Join us for a series of five-minute lightening talks where student teams share their process, methods, and what they’ve learned about humans and technology. Refreshments will be provided. |
